At camp sometimes we buy new things, sometimes we buy used things, and sometimes we just modify old things we already have for a new purpose. Last week we modified one of our old Suburbans.
The Old White Suburban is no longer a vehicle that we take off of camp property. What to do with it? It is tough to sell or even donate a gas guzzler that won’t pass smog. So; why not cut the roof off of it and turn it into something with a new use. So that is what we did.
Old White is now an around camp vehicle that we can use for trash runs and transporting laundry. The 1988 Suburban, that we have had since 2004 and weren’t sure what to do with, now has a new life at camp. We thought it looked pretty good before. We think it looks even better now.
