Summer Staff

Walton’s Grizzly Lodge counselors are college-age students who are hired for their enthusiasm and dedication to creating a wonderful summer camp experience for your child. Our mature, well trained counseling staff plays an important role in providing excellent care to our campers. Our counselors participate in a ten day staff orientation and training program. Training includes leading and supervising activities, learning and practicing emergency procedures and training regarding health and safety precautions and procedures. Many counselors return summer after summer and become Camp Specialists and members of the Leadership Team.

Brandon began as a counselor in 2018 and eventually became our Special Events Director. He is now our Program Director and member of our Leadership Team.

Patrick has been part of the WGL Team since 1990. We owe our beautiful grounds and smooth running site to him. He is also a camp legend of sorts, with campfire songs and skits performed in his honor.

Georgia grew up in camp and has worked as a dishwasher, cook, counselor and Director of our Leadership Program. She is currently a Special Assistant and a member of our Leadership Team.
