The Escape Room is Back!

Last year, we introduced a new activity at Walton’s Grizzly Lodge: The Escape Room! Cabin groups sign up for the activity and get one period to solve a set of puzzles in order to “escape”. Focused on team building, the WGL Escape Room is a great opportunity for campers to use creative thinking and bond with their cabin through collaborative problem solving and a little bit of imagination.

In 2025, campers traveled back to the 1890s on Grizzly Ice Pond, when the site was used for ice harvesting for the railroad. This summer, Bootstraps McClentox is back, but this time it’s the Wild West. New puzzles, a new story makes for an exciting new 2026 Escape Room! Brandon and Paul are busy getting everything just right for the summer.

The 2025 Escape Room challenged our Leadership Team and Staff during pre-summer training. We can’t wait to see how they do this year!
