Our Team is Growing

We have a lot to celebrate this January. Not only are we entering into our 100th year, but we are also expanding our team. We are excited to announce that long-time Walton’s staff members Brandon and Georgia, are joining our year-round staff as Assistant Directors! Both Brandon and Georgia have spent six summers as members of our summer program staff and we are thrilled they will continue to lend their expertise to camp in their new roles.

Brandon spent his first summer at WGL in 2018 as a counselor, and we have been lucky enough to have him work the past six summers as a Counselor, Special Events Director, and Program Director. Outside of camp, Brandon has brought his knowledge and excitement to multiple outdoor education programs across California and Washington. 

Georgia spent her first summer on staff working in the camp kitchen in 2017, followed by a summer as an Assistant Counselor in 2018. Since then she has worked as a Counselor, our CILT Director, and Special Assistant. Georgia is dedicated to youth development and has worked as a preschool teacher and nanny. She is now pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Nevada, Reno. 

Please join us in welcoming Bradon and Georgia to these well-deserved roles! Our whole team is looking forward to planning the most fun and adventurous summer yet.
