We do our best to keep the session status up to date. Session availability may change before your application is confirmed.
When your online application is received, the following fees will be charged:
For enrollment in an open session: $750 deposit per camper, per session + $100 non-refundable registration fee per camper
For placement on the waiting list: $500 deposit per camper (The waiting list deposit is refundable if the camper does not enroll.)
Campers may not be enrolled and on a waiting list at the same time.
If an opening becomes available from the waiting list a call will be placed to the cell phone of the first parent listed on the camper application. If we do not reach the parent we will leave a voice message and follow up text message to the same number with instructions. Those offered an opening will be given 48 hours to confirm if they wish to accept it. If we do not hear back we will move on to the next person on the waiting list, withdraw your application and refund your deposit.
The longer those on a waiting list are able to stay on a waiting list the better the chances of a space opening. Many times we will fill from a waiting list close to the start of a session.
When a camper moves from the waiting list to enrollment, the remaining $250 deposit will be charged, along with the $100 non-refundable registration fee for a total of $350.
The camp fee is all-inclusive except for transportation to and from camp and personal items purchased. A $75 Camp Store deposit will be added to your account for incidentals. Any account balance will be refunded or charged at the end of the session.

If Walton’s Grizzly Lodge does not operate, begins late or closes early due to circumstances beyond Camp’s control, including but not limited to, weather, floods, utility failures, inaccessibility, pandemic, civil unrest, fire, smoke, governmental order or other such reason, Camp shall not be responsible for any costs, losses or other damages beyond a prorated refund of tuition excluding the $750 deposit.
We recommend camp tuition insurance to help cover your camp fees in the event you want or need to cancel. TravMark Program Protector Insurance is available during the online application process. If you choose to purchase Program Protector insurance and are placed on a waiting list, the insurance will be “pending enrollment.” Upon acceptance, TravMark will charge the insurance fee and email you a confirmation. Walton’s Grizzly Lodge receives no incentive or compensation from TravMark. We provide this option as a convenience for our camp families. If you have questions about Program Protector, please call TravMark directly (833-297-2258). Parents may choose not to insure their camper’s program expense or may choose to purchase insurance from any company.
