Hi, I’m Nicole Kay. This is my 14th year at camp, and you should be a counselor because you get to work in the most beautiful place ever with the best people ever. It’s so much fun!

Yes, I’m Ryan. I’m from Sacramento, California. This is my second year at camp, and I just want to say it’s one of the best places to work because there are so many awesome people here to meet. The activities are great, you get to lead, and you get to change kids’ lives. It’s awesome!

What’s your favorite thing about camp?

My favorite thing about camp is probably the traditions. They really make you feel like part of the history here and part of the camp.

This is my first year, and I’m absolutely loving it.

What made you want to come to Walton’s Grizzly Lodge?

The camp is beautiful. I definitely wanted to be outside the whole summer and work with all the amazing children who come to camp.

My name is Mark, and I’m from Reno, Nevada. This is my 15th summer at Walton’s, and this is pretty much the greatest place to work in the world. I’m convinced. Amazing people, a beautiful environment, and it’s just one of the most fun jobs I could even imagine.

Hi, my name’s Kat O’Tierry, and this is my third year at Walton’s. Camp is just a really great place because it’s one place where you can truly be yourself and discover who you are. You can learn a bunch of new things about yourself. The counselors and campers both learn from each other, and it’s a really great community that we have here.
